The John Muir Health cardiac surgery program is one of the busiest programs in Northern California. The cardiac surgery team includes surgeons, cardiac surgery physician assistants, dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists who are certified in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardiac nurse educators, dedicated cardiac operating room staff, and nursing and support staff for cardiac and critical care.
